Peta Wolmarans
Peta is a strategic leader with 30+ years of experience planning complex transportation systems across the globe, including airports, ports, high speed rail, transit highways and active modes. She has proven experience in setting vision, developing strategy, gaining alignment, and delivering long-range plans in complex, multi-stakeholder settings on projects such as the Channel Tunnel High Speed Rail Link, the Evergreen Line, UP Express, Alaska Highway and YVR Airport Master Plan.
A champion of data-driven decision making, Peta is passionate about leading collaborative teams to deliver long-term value for users and communities. Currently Director of Planning at YVR, she is also the Co-Chair of the Vancouver Board of Trade – Regional Transportation Infrastructure Committee. In addition, she chairs the Canadian Airports Council – Planning, Infrastructure & Development Committee; and leads the Ground Access and Land Development Panel at the ACI World - Master Planning Committee.
