What is Workday Student
Workday Student is UBC’s new primary student information system where students can update their personal information, register for courses, view exam schedules, get transcripts and more.
For students who arrived before the Winter 2024 session, this will be a transition from our old system. While SISC will continue to be used for the 2023 Summer session, registration for the 2024 Winter Session will occur in Workday Student.
Using Workday Student at SCARP
Please keep in mind as you register:
- SCARP students will be automatically mass-registered into any applicable core courses (i.e., required courses for your program) Please don’t register for those, as we’ll take care of that on our end!
- Some more PLAN electives will be added at a later date and as soon as possible, once instructor schedules are resolved.
- Some minor and temporary glitches are emerging, feel free to notify us of new problems.
Core courses have been resolved and uploaded in anticipation of June’s open registration. You will be bulk registered into your pertaining once registration opens. You will need to register into SCARP electives yourself, however finalising electives may take more time to publish as instructors finalize their schedules. Stay tuned for updates!
During your registration, if you have a critical, time-sensitive problem not covered in your provided materials and preventing you from registering, please contact grad.scarp@ubc.ca, and we will add you to UBC’s Workday triage team and get back to you as soon as possible, based on volume and complexity.
