Peer-Daniel Scheer is a housing planner, researcher, and facilitator. He currently serves as Manager of Housing and Social Policy with the City of Coquitlam, where he draws on years of municipal planning experience to advance housing policy and cross-departmental initiatives. Peer-Daniel is committed to supporting communities and organizations in making better decisions and creating sustainable change. He has served on non-profit housing boards, alongside his professional background in non-profit real estate development, housing policy, and homelessness work.
He holds a master’s in planning from UBC.
His research regards Affordable Housing, Homelessness, Non-Market Housing Development, Local Government, Non-Profit Governance, and Housing with Supports.
