Marina draws from planning and social innovation theory and practice to support communities in improving equity and well-being. As a planner and facilitator, she works to create spaces where difficult, yet meaningful conversations about housing are possible. She has worked with all levels of government, as well as the non-profit and private sectors, to provide research, engagement, and expertise on housing to support decision-making. Marina has a Master of Environmental Studies in Planning from the University of Waterloo and a Social Innovation Certificate from SFU.
