Harmony Environmental Essay Prize

To all Masters students:
The 2022 Harmony Environmental Essay Prize is now open!

Do you have interests in social justice, and environmental rights pertaining to Indigenous sovereignty? Do you have a paper due this term? 

  • The 1st-place paper will be awarded a cash prize of $1,500. 
  • The 2nd-place paper will receive $500.
  • Winners will also receive a commemorative plaque and be inscribed on the commemorative wall in RAVEN's office.

This award, created by RAVEN and the Harmony Foundation, is one of the only awards for Masters students' papers promoting Indigenous rights, sovereignty, and cultures.


RAVEN is a registered charity with a mission to raise funds for Indigenous People's access to justice. With these contributions they provide Indigenous Peoples with reliable, long term support so they can defend their legal rights within a thriving natural habitat.
