Ethics in Environment & Democracy panel

The Ethics for UBC event series has been an interdisciplinary inquiry into research ethics, exploring the current landscape of ethics scholarship and education across the Vancouver and Okanagan campuses of our university. Some of these events have been shared with SCARP as they have had intriguing implications in the world of planning.

The fifth and final installation of Ethics for UBC, Ethics in Environment & Democracy, will (virtually) happen on May 25th and will discuss ethics across a variety of disciplines, from animal welfare and ecophysiology, to democracy and ecofeminism.

In attending this interactive 75-min panel discussion, you will have the opportunity to learn about the current ethics-related endeavours taking place at UBC, pressing ethical issues that exist across a wide range of disciplines, and the ways in which you can become more involved.
