Graduate Teaching Assistant – 2 open positions
~3.5 hrs per week - up to 45.5 hours total at $33.14/hr
TOTAL PAY: $1,507.87

 

OVERVIEW OF DUTIES:

Instruct undergraduate students in Lab sessions to aid with assignments, course materials, etc., as directed by the Instructor; create templates for students’ work and assist students with technical issues such as GIS, Adobe CS; organize readings, assist with maintaining Canvas site; collect, review, evaluate assignments.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Masters student in one of the following professional degree programs: MLA, MASLA, MASA, Professional Masters in Planning (SCARP). Student must have: Ability to explain subject matter clearly and confidently; Excellent written and oral communication to be able to communicate effectively in a tactful manner; Ability to effectively lead discussion groups that facilitate student learning; Familiarity with Zoom, Canvas and working knowledge of ArcGIS or another GIS application required. Preference will be given to applicants who have completed this course previously.
