Professional Association on Walking, Biking Offering Free Student Memberships in 2020

The Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP) is proud to be the community of practitioners working to create more walkable, bikeable streets, trails, and places. We foster peer knowledge sharing, advance technical expertise, and support the professional development of our members.  And this year, we are making a special effort to include students in the active transportation fields!

APBP student membership has always been offered at a discounted rate to better enable those who are younger or still learning the opportunity to be part of the organization at a more affordable rate.  But this year, we are excited to be offering complimentary student membership for 12-months.  This is a $30 savings for all those currently enrolled in a university program.

Student members of APBP receive many benefits such as:

·     Access to the APBP Community – an online member to member communication tool

·     Discounts on APBP webinars and conferences

·     Scholarship opportunities to attend various events

·     Access to the APBP Career Center with relevant job postings

·     Annual mentorship program to be paired with a mentor in the field

Interested students can sign up using our online membership form and plugging in discount code STU2020.

We would love your help in spreading the word about free student membership in 2020.  Please send the email along to students who might be interested.  Or you can let us know if there is a list we can contact directly.

Help your students find a built-in network of colleagues and peers with an APBP membership!

Thank you,

Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals Membership Committee
