Award-winning Author and Environmentalist Barry Lopez in Conversation with Wade Davis

The School of Public Policy and Global Affairs (SPPGA) has partnered with the Vancouver Writers Fest to invite UBC students, staff, and faculty to join award-winning author and environmentalist Barry Lopez in conversation with Professor Wade Davis on the evening of March 25th at the Granville Island Stage. Lopez's new book, Horizon, is being called one of the most important non-fiction books of the decade. Many of you may know Wade Davis, Professor of Anthropology and the BC Leadership Chair in Cultures and Ecosystems at Risk at UBC.

Students can purchase discounted tickets for $15 under the “Youth” category with ID presented at the event. Regular tickets are $25.
