Born in Tokyo, Japan.
Raised in Toyama, Sacramento (California) and Yokohama.
Studied in Sapporo (Japan), Portland (U.S.) and Vancouver (Canada).
I love any outdoor activities, especially skiing and tennis.
I enjoy taking landscape and nature photography as well as portraits.
I am interested in ECOlogy (the natural enterprise) and ECOnomy
(the human enterprise); how they interact and how they can mutually
benefit each other. The intersection of that would be to plan a truly
sustainable urban environment/human settlement pattern.
My thesis will analyze and visualize the embodied Ecological Footprint
in trade flows going in and out of Canada. I'm hoping to contribute to
understanding the conundrum of sustainability governance and the interdependence
of biocapacity in a globalizing world.
