Tess is interested in creating sustainable habitats and communities which allow for innovative and creative changes to our way of life. With a focus on social planning and community development, she hopes to create cities that work for the people who live there. She has a background in politics and community support through her previous position with Leadnow Society – a non-profit advocacy organization. Her expertise is in listening to what people have to say, facilitating good discussion and using those opinions to make change. She hopes to use this background in her planning career.
