A community developer and a participatory planning practitioner, with a particular interest in multicultural engagement, civic participation and social sustainability.
2011 Greenest City Scholar interned in the City of Vancouver's Corporate Communications department, completed a report on "Multicultural Engagement on Sustainability", which assisted the development of an engagement strategy of Chinese community in achieving the 2020 Greenest City Goals.
Previously worked at the British Embassy (Beijing) on international social development programs that promoted good governance in China. Strong project management experience and communication skills. Over eight years of business administration in telecommunication industry.
Born and raised in China, has a Bachelor in Business and a Masters at UBC’s School of Community and Regional Planning. Passionate about participatory planning, resilient community building and new ways of cultural expressions in a diverse context.
