Noha Sedky is a planning consultant with 14 years of experience working in housing policy, project management, and land development analysis. As a professional planner, she has assisted numerous municipalities, regional governments, and non-profit agencies with the development of housing policy, affordable housing initiatives, land development analysis, and evaluations of housing and homelessness initiatives.
Noha has been actively involved with the Planning Institute of BC on the annual awards committee and with the Canadian Institute of Planners on their international advisory committee. She is often called upon to speak to planning and public audiences on topics related to market and non-market housing, homelessness, and community change. Most recently, she spoke at the BC Land Summit on affordable ownership options and will be a keynote presenter at an upcoming seniors housing forum in Langley.
She holds a Master of Arts degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of British Columbia and she’s worked in Canada, Egypt and Pakistan.
