Bio and CV
Erin is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Community and Regional Planning at UBC with plans to graduate in 2014. Her interests include public policy, sustainability, solid waste managment, and politics. Her research will focus on exploring the legislative barriers to developing green cemeteries.
Over the summer of 2013 Erin worked for the City of Vancouver as the Greenest City Scholar working with the Vancouver Police Department to implement an emissions reductions and waste management strategy.
Erin volunteers regularly in the community and at the moment sits on the UBC Development Permit Board. Erin also serves as the Secretary-Treasurer of the Canadina Women Voters Congress a non-partisan organization that empowers women to participate in the electoral process. Erin coordinates the SCARP Lunchtime Lecture Series.
