Emily specializes in social and community planning at SCARP. She believes in bringing diverse voices to the table through public engagement to encourage sustainable and inclusive communities, as well as creating accessible and equitable public spaces. Her enthusiasm stems from her undergraduate degree in Geography, her experience with CityStudio Outdoor Learning Project, working overseas in Jordan, and the Vancouver Public Space Network. Her summer internship with the City of Surrey Parks, Recreation, and Culture Department included working and developing a strategic plan in the realm of cultural and heritage planning.
