I grew up in Surrey B.C., in the Newton neighbourhood. I graduated from UBC in 2013, with a Interdisciplinary Degree focused on Urban Studies, and comparative literature. My studies focused on the Network Society, and how this shift in flows of information transformed the way people interact. At SCARP, I am currently doing research for Tom Hutton regarding a Regional Economic Strategy for Metro Vancouver, as well as serving as Vice-President of the UBC Planning Student Association.
Outside of the class I spend my time hiking up in the mountains, watching as many films as possible, and road tripping wherever the road leads. During the summer you can usually find me at Nat Bailey watching the Vancouver Canadians playing ball, or out biking around the city.
