As a Technical Consultant for the Social Planning and Research Council of British Columbia, I am tasked with the development of a new study on debt stress in Metro Vancouver. Since fall of 2014, my work with the organization has involved data processing, data consolidation, statistical calculations and spatial analysis in ArcGIS. As a Graduate Research Assistant at Dr. Lawrence Frank's Health and Community and Design Lab at University of British Columbia, I provide expertise in spatial analysis in ArcGIS, and assist with writing research proposals for national grants. In addition to the two positions, I lead a team of researchers in launching a study on Vancouver's Downtown Eastside Street Market. In collaboration with the Downtown Eastside Street Market Organization and Social Planning at the City of Vancouver, my team and I are developing strategies for expanding the market's consumer base.
