Allison is a student of the Master of Community and Regional Planning program at the University of British Columbia with interests in sustainable urban development, affordable housing and strategic planning. She holds a B.Com (Hons) from the Sauder School of Business at UBC, specializing in Real Estate and Marketing. Allison recently completed an internship with the City of Vancouver, working on a project relating to their zero waste goal. She previously worked as an Analyst for a local land economics consulting firm, performing primary research and market and feasibility analyses to support the formation of strategic land use recommendations. In 2012, she was part of the UBC International Service Learning Team in Costa Rica, which evaluated project sites and made recommendations to increase the sustainability of local projects for an environmentally-focused non-profit organization. She is currently working as a Housing Research Assistant and previously worked as a Strategic Planning Research Assistant at the School of Community and Regional Planning.
