MCRP sees first graduating class

On June 1 the first class to hold the degree: Master of Community and Regional Planning (MCRP) will graduate at UBC. Twenty-five MCRP students including 4 students from the Indigenous Community Planning specialization will walk across the Chan Centre stage. The class was first admitted to the department in September 2015.

SCARP Students Receive Honourable Mention in 2016 Hines Competition

Three SCARP Master's students have been recognized with an Honourable Mention in the 2016 Hines Competition, organized by the Urban Land Institute.  Alix Krahn, Aaron Lao, and Sander Mozo were part of a five-member interdisciplinary team from UBC, along with Anežka Gočová (SALA) and Mark Chen (Sauder).  The submission, "The Gradient City", proposed the completion of the vision for Midtown Atlanta by providing a spectrum of diverse urban experiences connecting across an underdeveloped site.
