We at UBC's Department of Geography and UBC SCARP are pleased to invite you to this year’s Urban Studies Capstone Showcase!
The showcase will highlight Urban Studies students’ year-long projects in partnership with:
Aboriginal Housing Management Association
The City of Vancouver.
Join us to celebrate Urban Studies students’ accomplishments, and learn more about their work on issues including:
- Indigenous youth housing
- TGD2S+ mental health and substance use services
- Youth priorities for upcoming municipal elections
- The implications of recent provincial housing legislation across metro Vancouver.
The event will also feature the launch of The Vancouver Special, a new student journal from CAPACity, UBC’s undergraduate urban planning student club.
Food and refreshments will be served.
