Master of Asia Pacific Policy Studies/Master of Arts (Planning) Dual Program

The MAAPPS/MA Planning degree program permits students to obtain the Master of Arts in Asia Pacific Policy Studies (MAAPPS) and the Master of Arts in Planning through combined enrollment in the Institute of  Asian Research and the School of Community and Regional Planning.  Applicants must apply to each program individually (an online application, application fee, and original supporting documents must be sent to each department) .  The SCARP application deadline is December 1, 2011 and the Institute of Asian Research application deadline is January 15, 2012.

Full-time Studies (Schedule A)

  •     Canadian & Canadian Permanent Resident: $8,527.74
  •     International:  $14,981.76

In addition, there are student-levied fees of approximately $709. Fees are due in three equal installments (September, January, May).  The university reserves the right to change fees & tuition without notice. Please check the UBC Calendar for up-to-date fee & tuition information.

In addition the cost of living (yearly) is approximately $16,763.00.
